Clinical Analysis of Froben in Orthopaedic Field

Abstract
|
|
|
Froben (Flurbiprofen), 2-(2-fluoro-4-biphenyl) propionic acid, is a new potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent which has significant anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties.
The authors evaluated the clinical efficacy of Froben in 30 patients who had visited to orthopaedic department of Korea General Hospital.
The results were as follows:
1. The effect of Froben was excellant on 2nd week post-administration.
2. This drug was very good in rheumatoid arthritis rather than osteoarthritis.
3. There was no side-effect except for 2 cases, mild indigestion and facial edema.
